Wood Styles and Selections
The Our Company Wood Square is a manufactured part consisting of a substrate, such as MDF or particle board, veneered with wood veneer or high pressure laminate, as specified. Our Company Wood Squares are supplied in squares or rectangles for installation into a standard T-rail grid system. Squares can be manufactured for both heavy-duty 9/16” and 15/16” grid systems. Our standard module is 2' x 2' and 3/4” thick, although other sizes and thickness are available. Faces available to our customers include Plain Face, Quartered Diagonal Face, and Quartered Square Face. See the adjacent graphic for a visual representation. Our Company offers several options for installation and finished look including Tegular-Recessed, Coffer, Lay-In, and Side Slot.
Tegular Recessed Installation – Tegular Recessed Squares are similar to Lay-in panels, but have a ledge routed around all edges of the panel. This solution provides the ease of a Lay-in ceiling with less noticeable grid. The face of the panel is below the ceiling grid.
Coffer Installation – Coffered Squares combine the classic look of a coffered wood ceiling and the ease of installation of Lay-in ceilings. The grid is hidden with the coffered edges.
Lay-in Installation – Lay-in Squares simply Lay-in a standard T-rail grid. The grid is exposed below the surface of the panels. This is a very cost effective solution for adding the warmth of wood to any project.
Side Slot Installation – Side Slot Squares are also known as lift and shift. The panel is reverse tegular and is held in place with a slot in the side of the panel. The result is a continuous ceiling system with a 3/8” reveal between panels. This is a great system to hide the T-Rail grid.

Finishes and Fire Retardancy

Custom stains, clear sealers, or color treatments are spray applied using state-of-the-art finishing equipment.

Our Company Linear Wood is available with NFPA Class A or UBC Class 1 fire rating as tested in accordance with ASTM E-84.

The fire treatment process does not affect the quality of the wood finish.
Special Considerations

Above Ceiling Access – Squares are easily removable for above ceiling access. Simply push the Square upward and slide aside.

Lighting Fixtures – Our Company offers two standard solutions for integrating lighting fixtures. The panels can be supplied with factory cut holes for installation of downlights. The light fixtures can be specified to match the dimension of the panel, thus replacing an entire panel. Lights must be supported independently from above
